Elli Williams commits to peru state
Peru State has gained the talents of Elli Williams, a Middle for the FENIX VB 18 Premier team! During her time with the FENIX fam, we have seen Elli devote her time to LEARNING how to be consistent with her technique and footwork, along with pushing outside of her comfort zone to become a great teammate and communicator.
A senior varsity member at Olathe West, Elli began her recruiting process by focusing on what she wanted her college experience to look like. " I liked how Peru State was a smaller school." William's shared. Looking at majoring in Pre-med, Peru State fulfilled Elli's academic goals and athletic goals, along with a location that allowed her to still be supported by her close knit family.

DeBose Verbally Commits to University of New Mexico
We are THRILLED to congratulate FENIX VB athlete Reanne DeBose on her verbal commitment to the University of New Mexico! We have had the privilege of watching her grow as a volleyball player, leader, and young woman these past 3 years. Reanne’s relentless pursuit as a LEARNER and devotion to team culture assisted her in her process to find a home with the Lobos.

Reanne will be a senior at Shawnee Mission Northwest. Last season, DeBose helped lead the Cougars to an appearance in the Kansas 6A State Volleyball tournament. Reanne has participated in USAV High Performance pipeline, participating in the USAV High Performance Championships in 2019 with the USAV Youth Continental team. Reanne is looking to pursue a degree in athletic training.
