Thank you for being here!
I'm FENG Yifan, originally from Jiangsu, China, and currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Most of the time, you’ll find me either doing research, building robots (and occasionally disassembling them), cooking Chinese food, working out at the gym, off on a travel — or shooting and editing vlogs that might see the light of day someday.
I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology), where I also completed my master’s degree, and I’m a member of the Mechanical Systems Design Laboratory.
My passion for robotics started early and was deeply shaped by my experience in DJI’s RoboMaster competition during my undergraduate years. That was the moment I realized how engineers can genuinely shape the world through innovation and problem-solving.
Right now, my research focuses on creating a novel large-scale mobile robot that combines cable-suspended parallel mechanisms with drone technologies. I’m also broadly interested in wearable robots, mobile robotic systems, and everything from mechanical design to control theory, embedded and algorithm development.
If you’re into robotics, travel, fitness, or video editing — or just want to talk about cool ideas — feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to connect!
