연구분야
: DGIST Femtolab은 펨토초 레이저 분광기술을 활용하여 다양한 차세대 반도체 물질 (페로브스카이트, 양자점, TMD 물질 등)의 특성 분석 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 차세대 반도체 물질의 전하 전달자 (전자, 홀, 다양한 준입자)의 움직임 (동역학)을 관측하여 특성을 이해하고 나아가 성질 제어함으로써 새로운 개념의 소재 개발을 유도할 수 있는 첨단 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 동시에 기존에 존재하지 않던 최첨단 분광법을 새로이 개발하고 도입하여 복잡한 전하 전달자의 특성을 정확히 관측하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
DGIST FemtoLab conducts characterization research on various next-generation semiconductor materials (perovskites, quantum dots, TMD materials, etc.) using femtosecond time and space-resolved spectroscopy techniques. Our research focuses on directly probing the ultrafast dynamics and transport of charge carriers and various quasiparticles to understand how their behavior governs material properties. By elucidating and ultimately controlling these carrier dynamics, we aim to establish new design principles for novel functional materials. We also develop and implement state-of-the-art ultrafast spectroscopic and imaging techniues to visulaize complex carrier dynamics with high temporal and spatial resolution.

We are looking for highly motivated students and researchers with backgrounds in chemistry, applied chemistry, semiconductor physics, materials science, and related fields. Candidates with a strong interest in physical chemistry, semiconductor physics, and laser spectroscopy are especially welcome.
We seek individuals who are passionate about scientific discovery, intellectually curious, and eager to take on new challenges and explore unconventional ideas.
