As an adult, she’s done things here and there, but over the last few years she’s finally realized exactly the kind of films she wants to make. Her film, Laynie Needs a Light is a second attempt at what she hopes to be a long line of films featuring lesbian protagonists whose dilemma has nothing to do with their sexual preference.
