The mission of the Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Each week more than 200 scouts, leaders and parents stream into Fellowship for scouting meetings, training, service projects and learning opportunities. This thriving program recognizes that scouting is a safe place for youth to participate in wholesome activities. It is also a great opportunity for parents to just spend time with their children doing low-key, fun activities.
Scouting for Fellowship is a revolving door into our Murfreesboro community and an opportunity to recognize those involved and invite others to join. We offer opportunities for the youth to participate in SERVICE, such as environmental and community projects, and local MISSIONS, such as food, school supplies and toy drives.
Pastor Trey is the Executive Officer for both the Troop and the Pack and members of Fellowship are part of each team's leadership. Safe Sanctuary Youth Protection Training is integral to the programs provided. Our scouts have worship and prayer as an essential part of rank, events and activities.
Doing one’s duty to God is central to Scouting. Each cub scout rank includes a required duty-to-God adventure. Boy Scouts have a Scout Spirit requirement for each rank starting with Tenderfoot. There is a Duty to God component to each summer’s camp experience and all high adventures.
