In the night, I often find myself sitting on some steps, gazing up at this view. Whilst sitting here I can slow down and reflect on all of life that weighs heavily on me.
On this night-time walk I find myself having a lot in common with this fiery cluster of leaves. It is connected only by a few twigs to the greater body of the tree, but is in every other way quite isolated.
Axel is currently in his second year at Antioch College. Still in an exploratory stage of his life, he is interested in multiple different forms of creative expression. Axel just recently got into photography and particularly enjoys going out at night to take photos.
