This sound design for Orlando complements the world of the play being visually built throughout the show. The designs for this show insist that the audience be a part of the play, not merely an observer, and technical elements are conducted by the actors as the show progresses.
To further the idea of the world of the play being built as the story unfolds, every sound in this show is live foley, completely visible to the audience. I used a variety ob objects placed behind me throughout the show, altered a mix to reinforce each sound, played the violin and the lyre harp for musical accompaniments as needed.
