This 12' x 5.5' mural was painted for Terp-to-Terp Campus Reuse Store at the University of Maryland and was Felix's sophomore capstone project for the Arts Scholars Living-Learning Program. The project started during the fall 2025 semester, where he reached out to several sustainability-related programs on campus to gauge public interest and fleshed out the design. Terp-to-Terp is an initiative on campus that runs donation drives on campus and a storefront where UMD students can shop for free - the aim of this mural was to increase visibility and awareness of this program and the environmental benefits of shopping secondhand. The design includes several Maryland native plants and animals to highlight the effects of sustainability on local ecosystems familiar to many students. The mural was completed in April of 2026 and will brighten up Terp-to-Terp's storefront for years to come.
