Hey there!
Since August 2026, I have been an Assistant Professor (RTPC) of Mathematics (postdoctoral position) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Southern California, where I am working with Prof. Igor Kukavica.
This fall, I am teaching two sections (39550 MWF from 1-1:50 pm and 39535 MWF from 2-2:50 pm) of MATH-225 Linear Algebra and Linear Differential Equations. All relevant course material can be found in Brightspace. My office hours this semester will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm, or by appointment.
From February 2025 through August 2026, I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley, where my mentor was Prof. Sunčica Čanić, and I was supported by a postdoc scholarship of Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina (German National Academy of Sciences). My postdoctoral work at UC Berkeley was recognized with the 2026 Postdoc Achievement Award. Until January 2025, I was a research associate in the DFG Research Unit FOR 5528 at TU Darmstadt, where I obtained my PhD in May 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Hieber.
My research interests lie in applied analysis, nonlinear PDEs and mathematical fluid dynamics. The applications that I am working on mainly concern fluid-structure interaction problems and geophysical flows.
