I am a PhD student at Ruhr University Bochum and the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Essen.

My research focuses on urban economics, with a particular interest in environmental and real estate economics. In particular, I study the decarbonization of the housing sector, policies that can efficiently reduce reliance on fossil energy sources, and the implications for regional inequality.

During the autumn term 2026, I will be visiting the Department of Spatial Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss research over a coffee or tea.
