I am a mathematician and professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. My research interests lie primarily in dynamical systems, dimension theory, hyperbolic geometry, and ergodic theory, with a particular focus on discrete groups acting on negatively curved spaces and the interplay between geometry, dynamics, and probability.
In addition to my research activities, I am actively involved in undergraduate teaching, particularly in first-year university courses, as well as in outreach initiatives in Valparaíso. Among these activities, I coordinate the Taller de Razonamiento Matemático PUCV, a program aimed at fostering mathematical reasoning and critical thinking among school students through an inclusive approach that does not rely on selective talent identification.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Université de Rennes 1, under the supervision of Barbara Schapira. Afterward, I held a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Matemáticas of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Before my PhD, I obtained the degree Licenciado en Matemáticas at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which was followed by a Master 2 in Mathématiques Fondamentales at Sorbonne Université (formerly Université Pierre et Marie Curie – Paris VI).
