Introduction
Brief description of the job
I took on the challenge of developing an application focused on overcoming contemporary challenges arising from information overload. The essence of this project lies in creating a user experience that is not only effective but also intuitive, providing a streamlined tool for time organization, prioritization of essential tasks, and the mitigation of procrastination.
My role
As the UX/UI Designer for this project, I assumed a role in crafting a user-centric experience that addresses the challenges posed by information overload. My responsibilities included coming up with an efficient form for collecting data in user surveys aiming to substantiate design decisions, elaborating personas, creating user journeys and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams. I focused on creating an intuitive interface, streamlining the user journey, and implementing design solutions that enhance productivity and combat procrastination. Additionally, I actively engaged with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the final product aligns with both user needs and the project's objectives.
Process
Problem
This project responds to the dynamics of the 21st century, where technology significantly intensifies the flow of information, resulting in daily frustrations arising from a lack of productivity. Common challenges such as time management, procrastination, and the inherent difficulty of maintaining focus were comprehensively addressed. The goal was to provide an innovative solution that harmonizes user interaction with technology.
Objective
To conceive, design, and develop an application addressing the contemporary challenges of information overload in the 21st century. The focus is on creating a user-centric experience that effectively organizes time, prioritizes essential tasks, and mitigates procrastination. The ultimate goal is to deliver a streamlined tool that harmonizes seamlessly with user interaction, fostering enhanced daily organization, efficient task planning, and a more fulfilling user experience.
User Research
I carried out a survey using Google Forms, involving 55 participants. The crafted questions were carefully designed to align with the scope of the project, aiming to gather meaningful insights in the context of the potential end user. The survey results, provide a detailed analysis of the responses, offering valuable information to inform design decisions.

Persona
I have identified three unique personas to showcase the application's usability across diverse user profiles, emphasizing how the user experience has been thoughtfully designed to be inclusive and effective for various user types. The following provides a detailed description of one of the personas crafted.
Taskflow
I'm showcasing some potential taskflow within the application, based on one of the personas crafted for this project. Below are the taskflow templates, these visuals provide an insight illustrating the user experience design process.
Outcome
App
The proposed app aims to enhance daily organization, promoting task completion and reducing procrastination. It provides benefits such as efficient task planning, prevention of procrastination, task segmentation, progress tracking, and a sense of achievement upon task completion. Tailored to individual needs, it fosters a more organized, focused, and fulfilling daily experience.
