We are pleased to invite you to discover the new Adagio Movement collection. Inspired by the modern classical music, the collection explores the duality of masculine and feminine strength that we all have.

The rhythm of the Adagio reflects the solemn feeling. By starting with a slow pace, capturing the mood of dystopian, and end with a high note which symbolised warmness and excitement. Juxtaposition this transition pace as revealing the “inner strength” of our duality strength.

Besides the rhythm, the lyrics of the song gives rise to the idea of freedom, searching your inner soul and revealing the inner personality that leads you to think of the eagle’s wing that spreads open to fly.

As we bridge the gap, our masculine and feminine energies will rejoice in a great reunion that will allow us to live the way that aligns with our soul’s purpose, and transform into an individual’s uniqueness.

Design Concept

Felicis Lim in her work manages to merge art with fashion. Her devotion to artistry and the female figure is embodied in her design. The abstract textile prints that emerged from her imaginary are a decorative symbol of the music, eagle's strength, human's facial expression and sky blue horoscope ocean-like, refers us to an art piece during Art Nouveau. The refining of embroidery lines and exotic prints have been the source of highlights for this collection.

The great dramatist of expressing duality can be seen from her origami pleats structure as the masculinity and drapey flow as femininity in the silhouette. With a combination of both structure and flow, it reflects how we can accept the in-difference and embrace the dualistic consciousness. The wabi-sabi looks of multiple loose threads represent the original self-revealing multidimensional reality of oneself. The free-flowing embroidery lines symbolise the musical textures of polyphonic and heterophonic.

The design execution is also done in view of zero-wasting draping, where having a 105cm by 155cm pleated fabric draped into a hoodies jacket without a single cutting. The six-outfit collection combines the architecture structure aesthetic to portray the power and masculine side of the human spirit, contrasting with the gentle flow element and emotion of music. Overall it brings the harmony of happiness and promotes emotional growth with our inner strength. Indirectly, the collection brings individuality, confidence and peace to the wearer.
