I was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. My interest in mathematics begun in high school, fueled by science communicators like Numberphile, Mathologer and 3Blue1Brown. In college, a captivating algorithms course convinced me to pursue theoretical computer science research. The elegance of the Gale-Shapley algorithm ignited my interest in algorithmic game theory and computational social choice. In my work, I prioritize simplicity and real-world relevance over technical complexity, and I strive to make my research as accessible as possible—hoping to inspire others just as I was inspired.
In my free time, I enjoy camping and hiking. I’m also passionate about music: I love writing songs, crafting beats, recording and producing tracks. You can listen to my various projects here:
"It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If you take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale."
"To live life, you need problems. If you get everything you want the minute you want it, what's the point of living?"
"The pursuit of knowledge is hopeless and eternal... HURRAY!!!"
