"I went to UC Irvine and got a bachelor’s in psychology and criminology. Since then I have been working in multiple middle schools and high schools. Afterward, I went back to school, Cal State University - Northridge, to obtain a master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. I work mainly with Latinx individuals including children, teens, and adults. Most of my work has focused on working with adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress symptoms. I have been part of the Seventh-Day Adventist church since I was probably 6 or 7 and I have been blessed enough to utilize my skills to give back to my community."
