Fei Gao

I am currently an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD) and Public Health Sciences Division (PHS), Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and Affiliate Assistant Professor of the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington. 

I am interested in applying advanced statistical techniques to design and analyze clinical and population‑based studies (including HIV‑related and other public health efforts), translating methodological innovation into improved inference for real‑world epidemiologic and prevention research. My current research topics include clincial trial design, causal inference, survival analysis, semiparametric inference, and missing data.
