At FeesBuddy, accessible from our mobile application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by FeesBuddy and how we use it.

FeesBuddy is a management tool designed for teachers, tutors, and coaching center owners to organize student records, batches, and fee payments. By using our app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

A. Personal Data (Teacher/Admin) While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you:

• Email address (collected via Supabase Authentication).

• Account Profile details (Name).

B. Student and Batch Data (User-Generated Content) As a management tool, you (the teacher) provide data regarding your students. This includes:

• Student names and joining dates.

• Batch names and fee structures.

• Monthly/Yearly payment records.

C. Financial and Subscription Information FeesBuddy offers premium features for ₹49/month or ₹549/year.

• All transactions are processed through Google Play Billing.

• We do not collect or store your credit card, debit card, or UPI details on our own servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service (syncing data across your devices).

• To notify you about changes to our Service.

• To provide customer support.

• To monitor the usage of the Service to detect and prevent technical issues.

• To manage your premium subscription status.

4. Data Storage and Security (Supabase)

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud-based database.

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

• Security: We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that only you can access your specific student and batch data.

• Responsibility: While we use industry-standard security, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• Supabase: For database hosting, authentication, and file storage.

• Google Play Services: For app functionality and in-app purchase processing. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

6. Data Deletion and Rights

You have the right to:

• Access/Update: You can view and edit all student and batch data within the app.

• Delete Data: You can delete individual students or batches at any time.

• Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data from our servers, please contact us at official.feesbuddy@gmail.com .

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
