The RAGE Online Scoresheet is an online scoresheet to use when playing the RAGE card game. Scoring in RAGE is not complicated, but it is time-consuming for the scorekeeper, and it takes the scorekeeper's mind away from playing the game. The online scoresheet reduces the scorekeeper's job to that of just entering the tricks bid, the tricks taken, whether any BONUS or MAD RAGE cards were taken, and whether and challenges that were lost for each player at the end of each round. The scoresheet takes care of all the calculations.
The scoresheet is composed of three sections:
Players Section. Where player names and team numbers are entered.
Game Section. Where the scoresheet is set up for a new game.
Scorekeeping Section. Where the tricks bid, tricks taken, BONUS or MAD RAGE cards taken, and challenges lost entries are entered and the spreadsheet calculates all the scores.
The scoresheet has two scoring methods:
Official Scoring Method. Where the official method of scoring is displayed.
Alternative Scoring Method. Where the alternative method of scoring is displayed.
When cells are not being used in the game because of parameters set by the scorekeeper during setup, they will be blackened to indicate they are not used.
The top part of the scoresheet remains stationary, while the bottom part allows scrolling through the score for the various rounds.
Player Name. The scorekeeper enters the names of each of the players in the Names column in the Players Section.
Player Teams. If players will be playing in teams. Players on a team play individually while cooperating with each other. Players on a team play have their round scores combined into a team round score and a final team running total score.
Four teams are available, each with a team color.
The scorekeeper enters each player's assigned team number (1-4) in the Teams column in the Players Section beside the player's name.
As each player is assigned a team number, the team cell's background color will change to the of the assigned team.
When the first team number is entered, cells in the Scorekeeping Section that are used for team scoring will be unblackened.
Select a Scoring Method. There are two scoring methods available; a selection is made by checking or unchecking the checkbox:
Official Scoring Method. This is the UNCHECKED selection. This is the method described in the official rules.
Alternative Scoring Method. This is the CHECKED selection. This alternate method of scoring makes the game more volatile and competitive.
Reneging Challenge. The scorekeeper may select whether or not to use the reneging challenge in a game by checking or unchecking the checkbox,
Buttons. There are three buttons to use in clearing a previous game in preparation for a new game. Selecting a button will pop up a confirmation box to make sure you want to complete the action.
Clear Names. This button clears the Names column in the Players Section.
Clear Scores. This button clears all the scores in the Scorekeeping Section.
Clear Teams. This button clears the Teams column in the Players Section.
These two method legends display the points awarded for taking or not taking tricks, the taking of certain Action Cards, or losing challenges.
When one method is selected, its legend is unblackened and the other legend is blackened.
The Scorekeeping Section displays the scoring items of both methods but when the OFFICIAL method is selected, the items for the ALTERNATIVE method are blackened since they are not used.
Round. Displays the round of play, RAGE has 10 rounds of play.
Cards Dealt. Displays the numbers of cards to be dealt in this round. The number of cards each round decreases by 1.
Verify Entry. These small boxes check some scoring items for information and accuracy.
For tricks bid. This is an information check. Checks for and displays the status of the total bids for this round. Indicates whether the total bids is under, equal to, or over the total tricks available for the round.
If the tricks bid equal the tricks available in the round, the cell will display "OK" and have a green background. It means t is possible for every player to make their bids.
If the tricks bid are more than the tricks available in the round, the cell will display the number of tricks "over" and have a yellow background. It means at least one player will not make their bid, because there are not enough tricks available to meet all the bids.
If the tricks bid are less than the tricks available in the round, the cell will display the number of tricks "under" and have a yellow background. It means at least one player will not make their bid, because there are more tricks available than the totals bids and at least one player will take more tricks than was bid.
For tricks taken. This is an accuracy check. Check for and displays the status of the total trick taken for this round. Indicates whether there was a problem in the counting of tricks taken. The cell should indicate "OK," if the count is over or under, someone miscounted the tricks they took.
If the tricks bid taken equal the tricks available in the round, the cell will display "OK" and have a green background.
If the tricks bid are more than the tricks available in the round, the cell will display the number of tricks "over" and have a yellow background.
If the tricks bid are less than the tricks available in the round, the cell will display the number of tricks "under" and have a yellow background.
For BONUS RAGE cards taken. This is an accuracy check. Checks for the number of BONUS RAGE card boxes that have been checked. There are only 2 of these cards in the deck. If more than two boxes are checked, the background of the box will switch to red in color and will display the number tf boxes checked.

Scoresheet Computing.
The scoresheet will:
Compute and display the points scored for each trick taken.
Sum up the points earned by each player and display a Round Total for each player.
Add each Round Total to the previous Round Total and display a Running Total.
If teams are used, the scoresheet will:
Sum up the points earned by all the team players and display a Round Total for each team.
Add each Team Round Total to the previous Team Round Total and display a Running Total.
After the final round is completed, the scoresheet will:
Compute a final score for each player and highlight the highest and lowest scores.
If teams were used, it will compute a final score for each team and highlight the highest and lowest scores. The player or team with the highest score wins the game.
Ties. If ties occur:
The spreadsheet presents the number of times each player and team met their bids during the game.
The scorekeeper checks to see which of the tying players or teams met their bids the most times and declares that player or team the winner.
If ties still occur, the scorekeeper declares them co-winners.
