Feeldots is a personal mood tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what data Feeldots collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Feeldots only collects information that you deliberately enter into the app. This includes:
Your mood entries: whether a feeling is pleasant or unpleasant, its intensity (mild, moderate, or strong), and the timestamp of the entry.
Optional context you add to an entry: activities you were doing, who you were with, where you were, and any written notes.
Your notification preferences, including whether reminders are enabled and the time you set.
Feeldots does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. There is no account system.
Location data. When you select a location tag such as "Home" or "Work," that is a label you assign, not a GPS coordinate.
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or tracking tokens.
Usage analytics or crash reports sent to any third-party service.
Any data from other apps on your device.
All data you enter in Feeldots is stored exclusively on your device using AsyncStorage, a standard local storage mechanism provided by the React Native framework. Your mood entries, settings, and any notes never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
Feeldots has no servers, no database, no cloud sync, and no backend infrastructure. The developer cannot access, view, or retrieve your data under any circumstances.
If you enable the daily reminder, Feeldots schedules a local notification on your device at the time you specify. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server. Disabling the reminder in Settings cancels all scheduled notifications immediately.
Feeldots is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered personal information into the app, you can delete all data by uninstalling the app.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times.
You can delete individual log entries within the app.
You can delete all Feeldots data by uninstalling the app from your device. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data permanently.
There is no account to close, no server-side data to request deletion of, and no retention period. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Feeldots does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be made available within the app and will display a revised Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated clearly within the app.
