There's no doubt technology is changing the way we learn, communicate, work, socialise and even think but somehow we only seem to be reminded of the negative affects technology has on our lives. So to counter that I started to reflect on some of the more positive aspects and how we could actually use it to enrich our daily life, helping us learn, connect, be creative, value ourselves and others, make time, be active and eat well and this website was born. It started with just tech enriched ideas, but also offers some wellness ideas that are offline too.

It is still under development and aims to help members of staff working in the education sector. Many of the ideas are not necessarily new or elaborate, but I've seen them work in organisations or tried them myself. You may not have seen them before, or they may be old ideas you had forgotten about. Many are low cost or slimmed down versions of things that we see in large corporations, but I was mindful that schools and colleges have smaller budgets. So look in the header, click on Find a wellness activity and use the filters to find what you need. There are activities for individuals and for whole organisations.

Please Tweet out if you try any ideas and add the hashtag #feelbetteredu and help me share this site to reach your colleagues. Please also let me know if you or your organisation would like to be mentioned on the site for a wellness shout out if you have successful done any of these in the past. I would love to use this as a platform to share all the great things you all do in this sector.

Keep safe, keep smiling, keep communicating

Mrs Stokesy @stokesynic made this wonderful reminder for her planner. What a great way to remind yourself each day to stay well.
