What FeedHush does

FeedHush filters posts on supported social media websites using keywords chosen by the user. It can blur or hide matching posts. Optional Pro image filtering uses a local AI model.

Website content and filtering preferences

FeedHush reads post text, image descriptions and, when AI filtering is enabled, images to apply your filters. Filtering is performed on your device. FeedHush does not send your filtering keywords, feed text or image contents to the developer or to an AI service. Your filtering preferences and AI engine status are stored locally in your Chrome profile.

Subscriptions, account access and payments

FeedHush uses ExtensionPay and Stripe for subscription sign-in, verification and payments. The ExtensionPay library receives and stores account information such as subscriber email, subscription/payment status and an account access token. It may use Chrome's synchronized extension storage, with local storage as a fallback. FeedHush uses paid status to enable Pro features. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not received by the extension or developer through the extension.

External network requests

The optional AI feature downloads model files from Hugging Face and retrieves images from their original HTTPS hosts for analysis on your device. These hosts receive normal request information such as your IP address and the requested resource. AI image requests omit login cookies. ExtensionPay receives requests needed for subscription and account functionality.

Support messages

If you email support, Brandon receives your email address and the information you include, and uses it to answer your request. Support email is handled through Gmail. Please do not send payment card details, passwords or private social media messages.

Use and sharing

FeedHush uses information only to provide filtering, subscriptions and customer support. This build includes no advertising or analytics integration. Brandon does not sell user data, use it for lending or creditworthiness decisions, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to FeedHush. Service providers process information as needed to supply the described functionality. FeedHush's use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
