There is a story:
We each have two wolves inside us...
A wolf who is joyful, bountiful, energised, and full of love,
A wolf who is depleted, resentful, intolerant and full of wrath.
These two wolves are locked into a constant fight, grappling with each other inside us all the time.
In the story, a child asks, "which one is going to win?!"
And a wise elder replies, "the one you feed."
So come and feed your Loving Wolf on Sat 19 Nov
with storytellers and creative facilitators
Mica Sinclair & Hannah Moore.
This is a day of nourishment, reflection and fun.
Feed the Wolf workshops are designed to help us all replenish and find fresh energy and inspiration, as well as to rest and relax.
The day will include:
storytelling
movement and body work
time for reflection
games
connection with nature
creative activities
great food
music
a chance to talk and share
As well as lots of winter warmth and welcome in a peaceful, playful space.
The key question we'll be asking of ourselves throughout the workshop is:
What do I need in order to live in loving connection with myself this winter?
Your Facilitators:
Hannah and Mica met on the School of Storytelling's flagship course Storytelling Beyond Words, where they travelled together over many months across the Sea of Stories, encountering magic, mischief, rituals, wild flights of imagination, games, deep journeys of the soul, a lot of good food and an appreciation for how nourishing ourselves is also a commitment to enriching the world we inhabit.
Bringing a wonderful range of experience between them, they are excited to share these things with you at Feed The Wolf.
MICA SINCLAIR
Mica is a multi-coloured power house of creativity, a musician that lights up the world of others with her deeply-felt, profound and off-the-wall spontaneous creations. She runs workshops that bring creativity and connection. using exploration as a way to build self-esteem, confidence and create positive change. She creates a safe, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where people feel safe to be themselves and learn from one other. She is currently training to be a NLP Master Practitioner.
HANNAH MOORE
Hannah’s background is as a theatre-maker and event producer, specialising in creative workshops and social dance experiences that bring people together and sneakily contain a lot of joy. In recent years she has also developed her practice as a restorative justice practitioner and mediator, alongside working as a storyteller and facilitator, holding safe spaces for people to explore deep things together. Hannah‘s work focuses on intra & interpersonal restoration - restoration of spirit, connection, hope, possibility, purpose, resilience, emotional capacity and energy - all the things that we might speak of when we use the term ‘wellbeing’, with recognition of how deeply and holistically these things affect us.
