Ethan Moehr

       Ethan Moehr is a Federation Politician and Founding Father who is best remembered as both the 3rd President of the United Federation and the 11th Vice-President of the United Federation under Christopher Fallis. As the 3rd President, he is best remembered for surrendering to the United Colonies in order to prevent a civil war in the Federation. As the Vice-President under Christopher Fallis, his poorer reputation was largely restored, as he helped to win the First Great Prairie War.

        Ethan Moehr began as a member of Ainsley Wall's High Command during the beginning of the Federation's second year. He was the first member to vote for war against the Granache Tribe and was a supporter of Ainsley Wall's fleet re-armament program. In addition, he became a major advocate for more representation, including an elected High Command. 

        During his election, he campaigned against Joshua Keller, a popular fleet commander and a major figure in the new-age politics after the "Very Messy Time." At the time, corruption in the Federation was rampant and the Federation Government failed to act. Keller was believed to be one of these corrupt politicians, and as such he lost the presidency to Moehr. Ethan Moehr was sworn in the following day.

      The United Federation faced a large crisis at the start of his presidency, as several states, that were tired of the issue of corruption and wanted to re-write the constitution, seceded from the union. After two weeks of negotiation, Ethan Moehr eventually signed over the presidency to Chris Kukura and surrendered all remaining loyalist forces. The Federation's constitution was re-written in the coming days. 

Moehr's short tenure in office is generally ranked quite low in terms of presidents, but his personal reputation is much higher, especially because of his stalwart leadership in the Fallis Administration throughout Prairie War I.
