I am an Italian theoretical physics. I was born in Palermo, Sicily in 2000.
In 2018, after finishing High School I moved to Pisa, Italy where I obtained by Bachelor Degree in Physics at the University of Pisa cum Laude.
I then moved in 2021 to UK where I graduated from the University of Oxford with Master's Degree in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics with Distinction.
From 2022 to 2025 , I am lived in Hamburg, Germany where I am completing a PhD in Theoretical Physics in the String Theory group of DESY and at the University of Hamburg. I work under the supervision of Prof. Teschner and Schomerus.
From fall 2025, I moved to Waterloo, Ontario as postdoctoral researcher at Perimeter Institute.
Until 2018 I was a competitive swimmer. Now-a-days I enjoy long-distance running.
I am a 2x marathon runner, 1x ultra marathon (Wildstrubel by UTMB)
I am interested in problems in Quantum Field Theory and Mathematical Physics in a broad sense, mostly from an High-Energy/Particle Physics perspective.
I am interested in strongly coupled gauge theories and their dynamics. I am an expert of two dimensional (Conformal) QFT, that I have analysed in my research employing various perturbative and non-perturbative methods, and in their connection to the (Analytic) Langlands Program.
I am also interested in Generalized Symmetries and topological/higher structures in QFT as tools to constrain RG flows between fixed points and dynamics.
More recently, I have been interested in the low energy description of supersymmetric field theories in 4 dimensions, in the context of Schur Quantization, also in relation to 3D gravity, and the DSSYK model.
Please refer to the Publications page for more details on my research.
