As part of the CTE Summer Academy, students participate in a variety of hands-on lessons across multiple career pathways, including biotechnology, health, and STEAM exploration. Within the STEAM component, students are introduced to drone technology, where they learn the basics of drone design, safety, and flight. This engaging experience allows students to explore real-world applications of drones while developing foundational skills in science, technology, creativity, and problem-solving—all while discovering exciting possibilities for their future careers.

Mr. Ochoa brings a blend of artistic skill and technical know-how to his classroom. With a background in science education and real-world experience in multimedia design and commercial arts, he helps students explore creativity through drawing, animation, video editing, and game design.
Mr. Tippet is passionate about helping students understand how the world works through science and robotics. With a strong STEM background, he guide students in learning logical thinking, programming fundamentals, and teamwork using tools like Sphero BOLT.
