Board of Directors 

 President - Al Sirignano 

Al Sirignano takes the helm of the FGC Board starting in 2023. Al had a long career in the Food Industry. His career provided the opportunity to live in many parts of the country. In September of 2001 he made his final move here to the Pittsboro, Chapel Hill area. Al is an avid golfer and has been a major contributor and supporter of the FGC club, served as Mom, and recently initiated the replacement of our aging Golf Scheduling System.

He has great ideas and aspirations for increasing the fun and

competitiveness of our golf club.

Secretary - Fritz Chesek

Fritz joined FGC in 2020 and knows the Club was important in keeping him sane during the pandemic.  He and his wife, with the encouragement of their daughter Lily, moved here from a small town north of Chicago.  Originally, spending some time as a business accountant he looked to other pursuits and ended in academia.  First, as a high school English teacher and, after earning post graduate degrees, teaching at universities. Immigrating from Yugoslavia as a child, he is keenly aware of the many benefits this great country has provided him and so many others

Tournaments Director - Jerry Gianni

Jerry is a returning Board member and served as the director of the 2022 Fall Memorial Tournament.  It was a very successful tournament and received many words of appreciation from our club members.   

As a resident of Briar Chapel, Jerry has been a regular player in the club and enjoys getting out to play,  but only on those days that "end in Y".   

Treasurer - Pat Skiver

Pat rejoined the FGC after a brief hiatus.  She previously served on the board as tournament chair.  Pat moved to Fearrington Village in 2007 from Michigan where she managed a medical practice.  Being a part of the club again has been a joy.

Mom Coordinator - Boyd Webb

Boyd is a true North Carolinian and has a 34 year career as an educator after spending time in the Air Force Reserves.

He settled into Galloway Ridge after building a home on the golf course of Treyburn just outside of Durham and has played the most games of league golf since the clubs inception.   He has golf his age on several occasions.

As a Mom Coordinator, we welcome him to the board.

Membership Chairperson - Chris Horn

Chris moved from the Asheville area to Fearrington Village in September 2020 and joined FGC in May 2021.   Playing frequently led to new friends and the opportunity to serve on the Rules Task Force Committee, serve as a MOM, and play an active role on a number of club tournaments.   His goal as the Membership Director is to introduce FGC to the public, attract new golfers to join, and help make FGC play a great experience for everyone.
