Florida Conference for Recent Advances in Robotics

Paper Submission

Full paper submissions will be invited based on acceptance of one-page abstracts by March 25. (Abstract format is open.) Late submissions accepted, if space allows.

All full paper submissions should be sent to mmorris@floridapoly.edu as an Adobe pdf file by April 29. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the 2019 FCRAR Proceedings on this website.

Papers must be submitted using the template below. Please download the Word template, courtesy of Dr. Sabri Tosunoglu, and submit papers as an Adobe pdf file. LaTex formats are acceptable provided they match the template, however please convert your final manuscript to an Acrobat pdf file for submission.

There is no restriction on the amount of pages submitted. No copyright is imposed by the conference organization.


Robotics Showcase Entry Submissions

Entries to the Robot Showcase can be in one of three forms. Each entry should include a project title, authors, and institution:

  • Actual robot prototype and demo at the conference site

  • Video entry

  • Poster board entry

Entries to the Robot Showcase should be sent to mmorris@floridapoly.edu with pictures in JPG format, videos in WMV, MPEG, or AVI format. Robot videos should include credits (project title, authors, and institution) at the beginning or end of each video. Videos will be projected on large screens and looped at the conference site. Poster boards will be displayed and there will be an opportunity for presenters to speak to participants and answer questions. Submissions should be sent by April 29, 2019.


Expo Submissions

Entries for the Expo may include prototypes, a poster, a table or display, or a presentation. Other types may be included upon request and subsequent approval.

Please send an e-mail to mmorris@floridapoly.edu by April 15, 2019 with the project title, authors, and institution along with the type of entry (or entries) you intend to have. Please include any facilities, space, or materials you are expecting. No guarantees will be made for accommodating all requests and resources will be given first-come-first-serve based on the time of e-mail notification.
