The Automotive Technology program at Falls Church High School prepares all students to be competent in four out of eight Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards: Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electricity/ Electronics, Engine performance. Through daily hands on tasks, computer diagnostic modules, individual learning stations, live and learning interactive demonstrations, professional responsibilities, tools knowledge and shop safety training, communication with customers and customer service and text book vocabulary knowledge, students will attain the necessary skills to make educated decisions about post secondary options which include but are not limited to 1 or more of the following: Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s degree, Automotive Technical/ trade school and/ or immediate job placement.
