What does the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) do for the Fayette County High School (FCHS) Community?
The FCHS PTSO unites parents, teachers, and students in a shared commitment to enriching the academic experience at FCHS. Through membership dues, donations, volunteer service, and community partnerships, we provide programs and resources that directly support our students, teachers, and staff.
At FCHS, "membership" is simply a $50 contribution that makes a big impact by funding:
Senior scholarships - awarding graduating Tigers through a cash essay competition.
Staff appreciation - celebrating and supporting our dedicated teachers and staff.
Student recognition - honoring academic success and excellence.
Community investment - working together with parents, teachers, students, and local partners to create a stronger school environment.
When you join the PTSO, you play a vital role in making these opportunities possible and helping our school community grow and thrive.
