FPDU GENERAL INFORMATION

Safety/Keselamatan

• SN/PPK are not allowed to enter FPDU regardless of during FPDU shift/open FPDU during A&E shift. Should only wait at the counter.

Inpatient Prescription (Rx)

• UOU prescription indent from KECEMASAN (YELLOW ZONE, RESUS, AMBER & I/CARE), supply only 1 day dose

• Label every supply of medication to Emergency department with NAME & RN/IC

Discharge Prescription (Rx)

• All outpatient medication supply AOH: Compulsory to transcribe PHIS 100%

• 1 Rx not more than 8 items (shall separate into 2 prescriptions if more than 8 items)

• Prescription discharged as PESARA; SALINAN KAD PESARA is required.

• TB counselling request AOH, please contact SN incharge if the patient has Borang Notifikasi TB from Unit Koordinasi TB, if patient has this form, we do not need to provide any TB counseling.

• For Rheumato disease, Gout, Ortho cases: please supply painkillers in sufficient amounts according to the duration given.

• Discharge medications supply:

1. All discharge medications: max 1 month supply 

2. TB medications: 2 weeks and ask for patient TCA.

3. RVD medications: kindly supply until TCA

JKUT Items

• Make sure all JKUT items has the completed form (please refer HKL drug list). Please put COMPLETED JKUT FORM in JKUT corner after supplying the medication.

• JKUT Form not completed during AOH - atleast to get verbal consent from listed specialist/consultant and remind ward to complete it on the next working day.

• Record and sign your initial at the bin card. 

Imprest Stock

•  AOH stock only to be used after operation of FBW (>9pm)
