Wrestling Drills

There are many wrestling drills that you can safely do on your own! Visualize doing the attack/defence on someone and really focus on your technique.


1. 2x 30 second stance drill

2. 10 each of:

  • Arm Drag to High Crotch

  • Arm Drag to Double Leg

  • Fake Shot to Snap Down

  • Fake Shot to Double Leg

  • Underhook to Single Leg

  • 2 on 1 to Single Leg

3. 10 each of:

  • Sprawls, circle and get back to stance after each one

  • Down Block - Right Side

  • Down Block - Left Side

4. 2x 30 second stance drill

5. Neck Strengthening

  • Lay on a bed, with your head hanging over the end of the bed.

  • Slowly nod your head in a "YES!" motion 10 times, take a break, then do 10 more.

  • Slowly shake your head in a "NO!" motion 10 times, take a break, then do 10 more.
