#17 Aces UPSET #10 Longballs

Led by shortstop Quincy Rollins' 4-4 night, which included a home run the 7th, the #17 Anchorage Aces look to be moving up in the rankings as they dismantle the #10 Cambridge Longballs 5-3.

#2 Spitters Avoid Upsets @ South Bend

The #2 ranked Eugene Spitters had their hands tied, but ultimately pulled out the win at the South Bend Hurricanes. LF Nicanor Rosas put them on top in the 9th with a 3 run bomb to put the game at the final score 10-7.

#4 WINNERS Walk-Off Akron

With two on and tow outs in the bottom of the ninth, the #4 Chicago WINNERS sent Reuben Lyon to the plate, who was batting 0-4 at the time. Lyon hit a double to score the winning run as the Winners knocked of the Akron Beckoned 2-1.

The #5 Spokane Warriors' comeback fell short as the Philadelphia FISH TOWN held on to upset Spokane 15-13. That was not all though. The #6 San Diego Bombers were struck by a 9th inning double by Athens Dawg Garrett Towle, leading the a 2-1 upset of the Bombers. BUT THAT'S STILL NOT ALL!!! In a close game against the #7 Atlanta Firebirds, a last second grand-slam by Alonso Iglesias stopped the Atlanta rally as the Baltimore Orioles hang on to win 9-8.

#9 Deadly sins Stay Alive @ Vengence

A 9th inning rally spearheaded by a LF Anselmo Verduzco 3-run home run propelled the #9 St. Johns Deadly sins to beat the Victoria Vengence by a score of 13-11, after a Vengence rally fell short in the bottom of the 9th.

#11 Raptors Fall Short Vs. Mountain Lions

In a day filled with top 10 upsets, the #11 St. Johns Raptors were walk-offed by the Springfield Mountain Lions with a final score of 4-3. With two on and two out, rookie SS Riley Martindale hit a single which brought in the winning run, solidifying the upset over St. Johns.
