Student Ministry

Our mission as a Student Ministry is to "Know Christ and Make Him Known!" Our student ministry consists of Junior High and High School students, and we want to teach our students to have passion for Christ, his Word, and those who are lost. We want to be "salt and light" at our school campuses and local community by sharing the Gospel of Jesus, doing mission projects, fundraising, serving the children's ministry during events like Vacation Bible School, and participating in our annual Youth trip.

Wednesday Bible Studies begin at 6:00 pm with a meal and then Bible Study from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Students also have a Sunday School class that is offered at 9:45 am on Sunday Mornings and are encouraged to participate in the intergenerational Bible study at 6:00 pm on Sunday evenings.

Raising Canes Fundraisers

Nov. 4th and Dec. 2nd, we will be at Canes from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Come out and fellowship and eat some chicken!

Mission Fuge 2018

Disciple Now (D-Now) Weekend March 2nd - 4th, 2018! Pictured above are the participating FBC McLaurin Students.

Every year we partner with our sister churches (Pineview Baptist Church, Dixie Baptist Church, and Hardy St Baptist Church) to take a weekend to disciple our students and show them cooperation between church families. Pictured above is worship services with all attending churches.

The Children's Ministry Collected Canned food to donate to Edward Street Fellowship Center and the Student Ministry volunteered to organize and make bags of food for families in need!
