FBC Daycare
First Baptist Church has been the home of FBC Daycare for over 40 years. Beginning in 1980, Jobyna Mullenix was the director for over 20 years until 2001. Sheryl Barnett and Paula Wilson took over as Co-Directors at that time and revamped the daycare program. Since 2012, Ms. Paula has been running the daycare. FBC is proud of the program, curriculum, and staff that make the daycare what it is today.

Ms. Paula has been the FBC Daycare Director for over 20 years. Prior to beginning this journey, she taught preschool, babysat many families in her home, raised her two amazing children, and volunteered at their schools.
Her family is everything to her. She loves family time-especially being Grammy, enjoys taking walks and hikes, riding her bicycle, and working in her yard. She also LOVES a good beach vacation.

Ms. Sherry
Ms. Sherry
Ms. Sherry primarily works with the Red Class. She has over 20 years experience working with children, and over 30 years in the daycare facility.
Ms. Sherry enjoys dancing, singing, and having tea parties with her class. She loves making up songs for her class activities. Some of her favorite perks of working with children is watching them grow, learn, and make new friends! In her free time, she enjoys bike riding with her husband, Rich, hanging out with their grandkids, and flower gardening.
Miss Izzy

Ms. Izzy has been with us since the beginning of 2021. She was 14 when she started, and is now a senior!
In her free time, she enjoys film making and art. She intends to start a career in cosmetology after high school!
Miss Freja
Miss Freja
Miss Freja has been with us since 2019. She loves reading, music, and spending time with her family. One day she hopes to open a daycare of her own!
Miss Karley
Miss Karley
Miss Karley joined us at the beginning of 2022. She is in her junior year at IU and majoring in community health. She has always wanted to get into healthcare to pursue her love of caring for others. This passion is what led her to work here at FBC Daycare because she finds so much joy in caring for all of the kids.
Miss Aly
Miss Aly
Miss Aly began working here in the fall of 2022. She loves going on adventures and trying new things. Her favorite foods are cheese, strawberries, ice cream, dark chocolate, and clam chowder. She also loves scented things-lavender is her favorite. She is kind and loving, and she adores working with kids. She collects little leafy plants-it's a healthy addiction!

Miss Lainey began working here in 2023.
Miss Faith
Miss Faith
Miss Faith joined us in the fall of 2023. She is going to school for medical coding and billing. A few of her hobbies are knitting, cooking, baking, and gardening! She has enjoyed her time working at the daycare. It's been great for her to watch the kids grow and learn!
Miss Jordan
Miss Jordan
Miss Jordan recently joined us in the summer of 2024. She loves working with kids, and she loves taking care of them. She loves animals a lot. She has two dogs and a bearded dragon!
Miss Jacey
Miss Jacey
Miss Jacey recently joined us in the summer of 2024. She is a senior at Mooresville High School. She is the oldest of four sisters. She loves show choir, working with kids, and singing on her church's worship team.
