I am an ethnographer studying governance, memory, and political subjectivity in (post-)COVID urban China through sound and music. I write about how listening, voice, and media technologies illuminate state power, urban transformation, and the sensory dimensions of political life. I am a PhD candidate in Ethnomusicology at Duke University.
