Faviana Vázquez is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her love for theatre sparked when her Abuela Margarita sat her down to watch the movie musical Annie. Since then she began participating in various musical theatre productions with Puerto Rico's School for the Performing Arts. This allowed her to perform in the historic Teatro Tapia in San Juan and the illustrous Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce before the age of 10.
Since moving to Orlando, Faviana continued to pursue theatre in local community theaters and becoming increasingly involved in her school's theatrical productions. All the way from middle school through her senior year, where she was the Vice President of Theatre Club.
Now at the University of Central Florida, she is in the Acting program pursing a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a minor in Education. She is currently in her second year and completely enthralled with everything she's learned so far. In her time at UCF, she has notably participated in TheatreUCF's productions of Rhinoceros and The Last Firefly.
Faviana is inspired by the human desire to be seen and understood. Theatre has provided that for her, so it is her mission to inspire, educate, and resonate with audiences through performance and acting.
In her free time, Faviana likes to work on perfecting her latte art, and taking pictures of her weenie dog Hamilton, on her pink digital camera.
