I have been very interested in programming since I was a freshman in high school. After completing my sophomore year in high school I actively tried to learn programming beginning with a structured programming language, C. I tried to solve problems from CodeChef, HackerRank etc. In my junior year of high school, I found the topics of Boolean Algebra, Digital Logic Design, Algorithms and Flow Charts, Bioinformatics from my Information and Communication Technology course extremely fascinating and thus decided to pursue my higher studies in this direction.
I got selected at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology through a very competitive selection process. My merit standing in the admission exam was 168 and out of over 100,000 applicants 12000 students were selected to take part in the admission exam. My merit position allowed me to get into the highly desirable Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
