Changing The World 1 Youth At A Time
Founded in 2008, Fathers Know Best Youth Foundation is a New Jersey–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through sports, education, mentorship, and community engagement.
We support the holistic development of young people by providing access to AAU sports programs, promoting health and wellness through physical activity, and offering mentoring that builds confidence, discipline, and leadership. Our programs are designed to help youth thrive not only on the court or field, but also in the classroom and in everyday life.
Beyond athletics, we are committed to strengthening communities. Through outreach initiatives and positive role modeling, we create safe, supportive spaces where youth feel valued, connected, and inspired to serve others. We emphasize character development, goal-setting, and personal responsibility—helping young people establish both short- and long-term goals and pursue realistic dreams.
At Fathers Know Best Youth Foundation, we believe in our youth. By investing in their growth today, we are helping to build stronger leaders, families, and communities for tomorrow.

What we've done
Fathers Know Best Youth Foundation is known for bringing people and organizations together around shared goals that uplift and inspire youth. We serve as a catalyst by connecting young people with leaders—including educators, athletes, entrepreneurs, and musicians—who share their experiences and speak directly to their areas of expertise. Through these interactions, we reinforce the importance of education, family, sportsmanship, and career readiness.
In addition to our basketball program, PLAYTIME, we operate a mentoring initiative called Mothers Know Better After Dark, which emphasizes strong parent and family engagement. This program creates open, supportive spaces for guidance, dialogue, and personal development, recognizing the critical role families play in a child’s success.
Our commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. We provide tutoring sessions and organize educational travel experiences, including visits to national museums, learning centers, and historically significant landmark sites, exposing youth to culture, history, and new possibilities.
Through our Thoughts 4 Kids giveback initiative, we further support children and families by donating gifts and toys to children’s hospitals. Looking ahead, we plan to establish a college book scholarship to assist non-scholarship students, helping to reduce barriers to higher education and continued learning.
