Sizzler has shown since she was 3 years old and has never shown any issues until this last year. Last year, she started to show signs of aggression, lack of balance, and neurological issues. After testing it was determined she had EPM and also various hoof issues. This was followed by proper veterinary care and rehab measures taken by her farrier and I. I have provided Massages, Red Light Therapy, LED Laser Therapy, and Cranio Sacral Adjustments.
Chevy has had a rough go recently about a year and a half ago before he go to his new family. He has been a cattle horse for most of his life. After doing a consult, watching movement under saddle, and in hand I determined he had a lot of tension in his shoulders and top of his neck. I currently work on him with Massage and Cranio Sacral Adjustments.
Seven started training at three, showing at five, stopped working two years ago, and is currently 10 years old. He has discomfort in his hips and lumbar region of his back which comes from his structural confirmation from genetic traits. This causes his hips and hind legs to angle out. When this occurs, it can create pinched nerves in the back, tension in the longissimus dorsi muscle, and pressure in the hips. I have been working on riding him and pushing him to lengthen his stride to help with range of motion, Cranio Sacral Adjustments, Massages, and LED Laser Therapy.
Legend and his rider are a great team! They just needed to establish a stronger confidence level and better understanding of one another. Now that they established a fantastic relationship they compete in Dressage and Hunter Under Saddle while training under an Olympic Trainer!
Saber has a life that has been all over the place. He was a racehorse for 4 years, then a pasture pet for many years, adopted all over, then was in an abusive home and neglected, and then I purchased him. Since then, I have trained him to jump 1' cavalettes , run gymkhana, basic rail work for pleasure classes, give lessons for kids, do parades, trail in hand, showmanship, basic cattle cutting, and certified him as a Mounted Police Horse through the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Pepsi had a rough start to life with not much socialization and only 30 days of training. When he was 4, we were told if we could catch him we could have him. After catching him, I put periodic work on him and he went to a new home where he was supposed to be finished under training. A year and a half later, I got word of his condition and they offered to let me purchase him back and I did. Then put more training on him to get rid of his aggression. I hasd him evaluated and treated him personally and he was coming around but was navicular. He was rehomed to become a kids horse so he wouldn't have to work very hard and stay comfortable.
Patty has been a phenomenal rodeo pony for her kiddo for many years and is reaching the age where she is showing signs of discomfort and arthritis. I treated her with Red Light and LED Laser Therapy in her hind legs and joints to assist with the inflammation, discomfort, and tension in the muscle. She showed tremendous differences following her treatments!
Hero was quite the personality. He definitely one who picked his rider and required a constant work regiment and lots of TLC. We found a bit and work schedule that he liked and worked on him and he ended up in his forever home and is now a 4H horse where he is being used constantly and has loving kids to give him the TLC and time he needs.
Remington came up lame and after a farrier and veterinary evaluation it was determined that she had a very deep abscess and softened sole. I came out and treated her with LED and Red Light Laser Therapy in the affected area. This helps with blood flow and cell production to the area which in return helps with regrowth and increased healing process. This created a treatment plan to allow for proper healing. She has made a full turn around and is back to work!
Sugar is Navicular and she is a pasture pet now unfortunately but they are working on making her a broodmare. I treated her with LED and Red Light Laser Therapy and she improved! I would love to say she is back working but she is unable to due to the extent of her disease. We are just glad we go the oppurtunity to treat her and help her be more comfortable for a while.
