You can easily navigate around open tabs in your Chrome browser with these handy tips :-
Ctrl+1-8: Use this keyboard combo to switch to a specific tab–numbered from the left. It only works for the first 8 tabs open.
Ctrl+9: No matter how many tabs you have open, this will take you to the tab farthest from the left.
Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Page Down: Switches to the next tab to the left.
Ctrl+Shift+Tab or Ctrl+Page Up: Switches to the next tab to the right.
N.B. The above shortcuts can also be used when the browser is set to 'full screen' viewing [meaning no tabs are visible] which makes them extra handy.
The shortcuts are compatible with most modern operating systems such as Windows, Chrome OS {including Cloudready}, and Linux.
Here are some examples that you will not find on your usual standard keyboards, they comprise a special character known as an 'em' that is used to denote the standard width of items displayed on screen.
You can “copy ‘n’ paste” any of these special characters for use elsewhere ....

Open the information panel with the shortcut Shift+Esc [on Chromebooks] or select the '...' in top right corner then > More tools > Task manager
The panel displays each running Task with stats alongside showing the Memory footprint, CPU time and Network [internet bandwidth] is being used by each of your open tabs, as well as any background processes.
You can optionally selected a Task and use the "End Process" button to 'kill' it.
