Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is an educational philosophy where the teaching and learning approach that is based upon a predetermined set of expected outcomes. The term outcomes in this matter would be a set of values or attributes on what a student should acquire upon completion of a certain level of learning.
Programmes Educational Objectives (PEO) are defined as qualities or specific goals describing expected achievements of graduates in their career and professional life after graduation.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO) are a series of qualities or attributes that a graduate are expected to know or be able to perform or attain by the time of graduation. These relate to the knowledge (cognitive), skills (psychomotor), and behaviour (affective) that the student acquire through the programme.
