("we," "us," or "our") operates the FastSync - Fasting Tracker mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
FastSync - Fasting Tracker is a wellness app that helps you plan and follow intermittent fasting protocols. The App lets you choose a fasting schedule, run a fasting timer, and track related habits including water intake, sleep, steps, and weight, with reminders and progress charts to help you stay on track. Some features rely on information you provide during onboarding and on your device's own tools.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
Creating an account requires:
Email address
Sign-in via Google
1.2 Onboarding and health-related information
To build your personalized fasting plan, the App asks you to provide:
Weight, goal (e.g. weight loss, maintenance, energy), and focus area
Past fasting experience level
Date of birth, height, and sleep schedule
Any health concerns you choose to flag, used to warn you if a fasting protocol may not suit your profile
Some of this information (health concerns, weight, sleep patterns) may be considered sensitive or health-related data under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. We collect it only with your input at onboarding, and only to generate and adjust your plan — see Section 3.
1.3 Data generated by using the App's features
Fasting sessions — protocol chosen (e.g. 16:8, 18:6, OMAD etc), start/end times, streaks, weekly/monthly logs
Water intake logs
Sleep tracker entries
Step count (pulled from device sensors)
Weight tracker entries over time
Progress stats and charts generated from the above
1.4 Automatically collected data
Like most apps, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical data when you use the App:
Device information (model, OS version, unique device/advertising identifiers)
App usage data (screens viewed, features used, session length, crash logs)
2. Permissions We Access
To provide its features, the App may request the following permissions from your device. We only request permissions relevant to the feature you're using, and most can be managed or revoked at any time in your device's Settings.

We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing purposes. Your health and fitness data is accessed only after you grant permission and is processed only to provide the features you choose to use. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.
Review and adjust which permissions the App has been granted at any time via your device's Settings → Apps → FastSync - Fasting Tracker → Permissions. Denying a permission may limit the related feature but won't prevent you from using the rest of the App.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The App itself does not use browser-style cookies, since it is a native mobile application rather than a website. However, the App and the third-party SDKs it includes (see Section 4) use comparable device-based technologies to recognize your device and support core functionality, analytics, and advertising:
Device and advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID or equivalent) — used by our analytics and ad providers to measure app usage and ad performance.
Local app storage — used on your device to remember your settings, session/login state, and onboarding preferences so you don't have to re-enter them each time.
SDK-level tracking technologies — our analytics and advertising SDKs may set their own local identifiers or storage on your device to function; these are governed by each provider's own privacy policy (see Section 4).
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to run analytics, measure app performance, and show ads. These providers may collect data directly from your device under their own privacy policies:
