AuraaByte ("we," "our," or "us") developed Fasting Timer & Tracker as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy outlines how our Android application handles user data and protects your privacy.
We believe your health and habit data should remain entirely yours. Fasting Timer & Tracker is designed with privacy at its core: we do not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.
We do not run backend databases or servers that harvest personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:
Account information or login credentials (no account creation, sign-in, or registration required).
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
Personal health records, body biometrics, or medical information.
Precise or coarse location data (GPS coordinates).
All core functionality operates completely on your Android device using local database storage (such as Room / SQLite):
Fasting Records & Stats: Timer start/end timestamps, fasting protocols, historical fasts, streak counts, and challenge milestones remain strictly stored on your physical device.
App Preferences: Custom plan lengths, UI settings, and notification configurations are stored locally via Android Shared Preferences / DataStore.
All premium purchases, subscriptions, and free trials are processed directly by Google LLC through the Google Play Billing Library:
We do not collect, process, or retain your financial information, credit card numbers, or billing details.
Google validates purchase tokens, entitlements, and subscriptions directly on your device.
Financial data handling is governed entirely by Google's Privacy Policy.
Local Notifications: The app requests the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission (on Android 13 and above) to alert you about fasting milestones, phase changes, and eating windows. These alerts are scheduled and triggered locally using Android's local alarms (AlarmManager / WorkManager) without any remote push notification servers.
In-App Reviews: The app may use the official Google Play In-App Review API to request feedback, which is managed securely by Google Play Services.
Fasting Timer & Tracker contains no third-party tracking frameworks, ad networks, or analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Meta SDK, or Google Analytics).
We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
Because your data is stored locally within the application's private storage sandbox:
Automatic Deletion: Clearing the app's cache/data in Android Settings or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all your fasting logs, progress, and settings.
No Remote Traces: Since we do not maintain cloud servers, there is no remote account or server-side database to request deletion from.
Fasting Timer & Tracker is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe that a minor has shared personal information with us, please contact us so we can resolve the issue immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with app updates or Google Play policy requirements. Any updates will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
