Your fasting data stays on your device

Fastyn saves your fasting history, goals, reminders, and schedules directly on your iPhone or iPad. We don’t run our own servers, and we don’t upload this information to

iCloud or to any other cloud service. If you delete the app (or erase your device), that local data is removed with it.

  How subscriptions are handled

When you start or restore Fastyn Plus, the app talks to RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.). They use the purchase receipt that Apple provides to confirm your subscription status.

RevenueCat never receives your fasting logs, notes, or personal profile details—only the info Apple supplies about the transaction.

  Analytics we collect

Fastyn sends anonymous usage events—like which onboarding step was completed—to PostHog, a product analytics service hosted in the European Union. These events help us

understand what’s working and fix issues; we keep the payloads minimal and avoid including sensitive content from your fasts. There’s currently no in-app switch to turn this

  analytics stream off.

  Notifications and widgets

Reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely through Apple’s notification services. We don’t see the text of those reminders. The home-screen widget reads the

same local data that the app stores on your device—there’s no extra syncing with outside services.
