To function properly, this extension requires communicating with Google's Public DNS API ([https://dns.google/resolve](https://dns.google/resolve)). When you search for a domain name, the extension sends only the queried domain name to this service to verify its availability. No personal identifiers or user tracking data are attached to these requests. The extension does not communicate with any other external servers or Core42 servers.

3. Local Storage Usage We use your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) strictly for the following functional purposes:

• Saving your app preferences (e.g., Light/Dark theme, language selection, and active TLDs).

• Storing your recent search history and your saved/favorite domains.

This data remains entirely local on your device and is never sent to us or any third parties.

4. Permissions Justification

• "storage": Used solely to save your personal preferences, favorites, and history locally on your device.

• "Host Permissions (https://dns.google/*)": Used exclusively to query DNS records to determine if a domain is registered or available.
