Welcome to Fast Dial App ("Fast Dial," "the App," "we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy and data security are our highest priorities.
Fast Dial App is an Android application designed to automate and facilitate standard USSD dialog interactions. These services may include airtime and data bundle purchases, balance inquiries, Mobile Money services, and other services made available through a user's mobile network operator.
We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy and are committed to handling information responsibly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how Fast Dial App accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the App. It also explains the permissions requested by the App, the purpose for which those permissions are used, and the choices available to you.
By downloading, installing, or using Fast Dial App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
Fast Dial is designed around data minimization. The App processes information only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you choose to use.
Some information is stored locally on your Android device. This may include your saved USSD shortcuts, favorites, custom commands, application preferences, network operator configuration, and automation templates. This information is primarily used to remember your preferences and provide a consistent experience when you use the App.
Fast Dial App may also temporarily process information displayed during an active USSD session. Such information may include menu options, available services, bundle information, or airtime responses displayed by your mobile network operator. This information is processed as part of the USSD interaction and is not intentionally transmitted to our servers for storage.
The specific information processed depends on the features you use and the permissions you choose to grant.
Fast Dial App uses Android's Accessibility Service functionality through UssdAccessibilityService to provide its USSD automation features.
The Accessibility Service enables the App to identify and interact with relevant USSD dialog windows displayed on your device. When you initiate a supported USSD operation, the service may read text from the relevant USSD dialog, identify available menu options, and perform configured selections or responses on your behalf.
The Accessibility Service is used specifically to facilitate USSD navigation and automation. It is not intended to function as a general monitoring service.
Fast Dial App does not use the Accessibility Service to continuously record your screen, monitor your general web browsing activity, or operate as a general-purpose keystroke logger. The service is intended to interact with relevant USSD interface elements necessary for the functionality you have requested.
Information accessed from USSD dialogs is processed locally on your device for the purpose of completing the relevant USSD interaction. Fast Dial App does not intentionally transmit the text of those USSD dialogs to our servers for remote storage.
You must explicitly enable the Accessibility Service through Android's settings before the related automation features can operate. You may disable the service at any time through your device's Accessibility settings. Disabling it may prevent features that depend on USSD automation from functioning.
Fast Dial App may assist you in navigating USSD menus associated with Mobile Money, airtime, data bundles, account services, and other services provided by your mobile network operator.
Fast Dial App does not collect, store, transmit, or request your Mobile Money PIN, bank PIN, banking password, card PIN, or other confidential authentication credentials.
Where a Mobile Money or other financial transaction requires a confidential PIN or security credential, that information should be entered only into the appropriate security prompt presented by your mobile network operator or financial service provider.
Fast Dial App is designed so that it does not need to know your confidential PIN to provide its intended USSD navigation functionality.
Users are responsible for reviewing transaction details before confirming a transaction. You should carefully verify the recipient, phone number, amount, service, bundle, and other information displayed by your network operator before completing a transaction.
Fast Dial App is an automation and navigation tool and does not independently control, authorize, settle, or guarantee transactions conducted through a telecommunications or financial service provider.
Certain Fast Dial features may allow you to select a recipient from the contacts already stored on your device. To provide this functionality, the App may request Android's READ_CONTACTS permission.
Contact access is used solely to allow you to select relevant phone numbers when using supported features, such as sending airtime or initiating a supported Mobile Money operation.
Fast Dial App does not upload your complete contact list to our servers. Your contacts are not sold, rented, or used to create advertising profiles.
If you do not grant contact permission, or if you later revoke it through Android settings, features that depend on contact selection may not function. You can continue using other features of the App that do not require contact access.
Fast Dial may require Android phone-related permissions necessary to initiate USSD requests from your device.
These permissions allow the App to initiate supported USSD codes, such as network-specific service codes for airtime, balances, data bundles, Mobile Money, and other services.
The actual USSD codes and services available through the App depend on your mobile network operator and the services it provides.
Phone-related permissions are used to support the App's USSD functionality. Fast Dial does not use these permissions to intentionally monitor or record your private telephone conversations.
Fast Dial App may request Android's POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission on Android versions where notification permission is required.
Notifications may be used to communicate important information relating to the App, including application announcements, system notices, service updates, feature information, and other relevant notifications.
Notification access is not required for every feature of Fast Dial App. You may manage or revoke notification permission through your Android device settings. Disabling notifications may prevent certain information from being displayed as a notification.
Fast Dial App may use Google Firebase and Firestore to provide limited cloud-based application functionality.
These services may be used to retrieve and deliver application-wide announcements, system notices, configuration information, feature information, and other centrally managed content necessary for the operation of the App.
The Firebase/Firestore functionality used by Fast Dial is not intended to serve as remote storage for your Mobile Money PIN, bank PIN, complete contact list, or the contents of your USSD dialogs.
Depending on the technical configuration of the App and the services being used, limited technical, network, application, or configuration-related information may be processed by Google Firebase services when the App communicates with them.
Firebase and Firestore are operated by Google. Information processed through these services may therefore be subject to Google's applicable terms, privacy policies, and data-processing practices.
Fast Dial does not control the independent privacy practices of Google or other third-party service providers.
Fast Dial may store certain application information directly on your Android device. Local storage may include information such as saved shortcuts, favorites, custom USSD commands, application preferences, network operator settings, and relevant command or transaction history.
The purpose of storing this information locally is to allow the App to remember your configuration and provide features such as shortcuts, favorites, history, and customized USSD commands.
Local application data is not intended to be transmitted to our servers simply because it exists on your device.
You may be able to delete particular records through available functions within the App. You may also remove locally stored application data through Android's application settings.
Fast Dial does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercially sell your personal information.
We do not sell your contact information, locally stored USSD history, Mobile Money information, or other personal information collected or stored by the App.
Fast Dial may rely on trusted third-party infrastructure providers where necessary to provide specific application functionality. At present, this may include Google services such as Firebase and Firestore.
Third-party service providers operate independently and may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies, terms of service, and applicable legal requirements.
We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe that disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law. This may include responding to valid legal processes, lawful government requests, or circumstances involving the protection of the rights, safety, or property of users, Fast Dial, or others.
Where legally permitted and reasonably practical, any disclosure will be limited to information necessary for the relevant purpose.
Fast Dial is designed to keep most user-specific application information locally on the user's device.
Local information generally remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear the App's storage through Android settings, or uninstall Fast Dial.
Information read from relevant USSD dialogs through the Accessibility Service is processed locally for the active USSD interaction and is not intentionally transmitted to our servers for storage.
Information that is processed through third-party services such as Firebase or Firestore may be retained according to the applicable technical configuration, operational requirements, and the relevant provider's policies.
Because third-party services operate independently, Fast Dial cannot guarantee the retention periods applied by those providers to information processed through their infrastructure.
You may delete locally stored information through the deletion or history-management functions provided within Fast Dial, where available.
You may also use Android's application settings to clear Fast Dial's application data.
Uninstalling Fast Dial will generally cause Android to remove the application's locally stored data associated with that installation.
However, uninstalling the App does not automatically delete information that may have already been processed by independent third-party services. Any such information may remain subject to the applicable policies and retention practices of those services.
If you have a privacy-related deletion request concerning information that may be under our control, you may contact us using the details provided in Section 17 of this Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information processed by Fast Dial App.
Our approach includes minimizing unnecessary data collection, limiting access to device permissions based on application functionality, and processing USSD interaction information locally where technically feasible.
Fast Dial App is specifically designed not to intentionally store Mobile Money PINs, bank PINs, or other confidential authentication credentials on our servers.
However, no application, operating system, device, telecommunications network, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should therefore take reasonable steps to protect their devices and accounts. This includes keeping Android and Fast Dial App updated, using a secure device lock, protecting Mobile Money and banking credentials, and reviewing transaction information carefully before confirming transactions.
Fast Dial provides users with control over the Android permissions required by the App.
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, these may include Accessibility Service access, Contacts permission, phone-related permissions, and notification permission.
You may grant or deny permissions when requested by Android and may subsequently modify permissions through your device settings.
Revoking a permission may cause the corresponding feature to stop functioning. For example, disabling Accessibility Service access may prevent USSD automation, while denying Contacts permission may prevent recipient selection from your contacts.
You remain in control of whether to provide these permissions.
Fast Dial App may interact with third-party services, particularly mobile network operators and service providers that operate USSD services.
When you initiate a USSD session, your mobile network operator may independently process information necessary to provide the requested service. This may include information required to authenticate your account, process an airtime or data purchase, complete a Mobile Money transaction, display account information, or provide another requested service.
Such processing is controlled by the relevant telecommunications provider or service provider and is subject to its own privacy policy and terms.
Similarly, Google Firebase and Firestore are third-party services operated by Google and are subject to Google's applicable policies.
Fast Dial App does not control the independent data-processing practices of these third parties.
Fast Dial App is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through Fast Dial App, please contact us.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under the applicable age has been knowingly processed without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.
Depending on your country or region and applicable law, you may have certain rights relating to your personal information. These rights may include the right to request access to information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, withdraw certain permissions, object to particular processing, or exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy legislation.
Because Fast Dial App is designed to store much of its user-specific information locally on the device, many privacy controls can be exercised directly through the App or Android operating system.
If you have a privacy request concerning information under our control, or if you have questions about how Fast Dial App processes information, you may contact us using the information below.
Privacy and data minimization are important principles in the design of Fast Dial.
The App is designed to process USSD dialog information locally where technically feasible rather than transmitting that information to remote servers.
We also seek to limit access to device information to what is reasonably necessary for the functionality being used. Contact access is intended for recipient selection, Accessibility Service access is intended for USSD automation, and Firebase/Firestore is used for defined application-level cloud functionality.
Fast Dial App does not collect or store confidential Mobile Money PINs, bank PINs, or similar authentication credentials.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Fast Dial, new features, changes in technology, changes to third-party services, changes in applicable laws, security improvements, or changes in our information practices.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the beginning of the document will be revised.
Where appropriate, significant changes may also be communicated through an in-app announcement or other reasonable means.
We encourage users to periodically review this Privacy Policy to remain informed about how Fast Dial handles information.
If you have questions, concerns, complaints, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or the privacy practices of Fast Dial App, please contact us.
