This Privacy Policy explains how Fast Reel Downloader (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the App”) handles information when you use the App.

Fast Reel Downloader helps users save videos to their device for offline viewing. The App does not provide an account or login feature and does not require you to submit social platform passwords.

Links (URLs) you paste into the App
Why: to process the download you requested.
2.2 Advertising data (AdMob)
If the App displays ads via Google AdMob, the ad SDK may process:
Advertising ID (or equivalent device identifiers, depending on OS settings)
IP address (typically used for general location signals and security)
Basic device and app information (device model, OS version, app version)
Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks) and anti-fraud signals
Why: ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and fraud prevention.
2.3 Analytics data (Firebase Analytics)
Firebase Analytics may collect:
App and device metadata (app version, OS version, device model, language)
App usage events (e.g., screen views, feature interactions, download start/success/failure events you define)
Why: understand how the App is used and improve features and performance.
2.4 Crash data (Firebase Crashlytics)
Crashlytics may collect:
Crash stack traces and diagnostics
App state at time of crash
Device and OS information
A crash installation identifier (used to group crash reports)
Why: identify and fix stability problems.
2.5 What we do NOT collect (in this variant)
No account credentials (no login)
No contacts/SMS/call logs
No precise GPS location (unless you add it later and update this policy)
3) How we use the data
We use information to:
Run the download feature you requested
Show ads and measure ad performance
Improve usability and feature quality
Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes
We do not use your pasted links to build profiles for sale.
4) Sharing and third parties
We may share data with:
Google (AdMob and Firebase) as our service provider for ads, analytics, and crash reporting.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect users, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
5) Your choices (ads, analytics, consent)
5.1 Ad personalization controls
Depending on your device and region, you may be able to limit ad personalization in Android privacy settings. Ads may still appear, but they may be less relevant.
5.2 EEA/UK/Switzerland notices
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we may request consent for certain advertising/identifier usage and provide a way to change your choices (for example via a consent dialog and a “Privacy options” entry in settings), where required by law.
6) Data retention
Local files: kept on your device until you delete them.
Analytics/crash reports: retained for a limited time consistent with Firebase settings and business needs.
Ad data: handled according to Google’s SDK/service retention practices and settings.
You can clear local history (if provided): Settings → Clear History / Clear Cache.
7) Security measures (applies to both variants)
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, such as secure network transport where applicable and limited access to analytics/crash dashboards. No system is perfectly secure; we work to reduce risk.
8) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live (for example, where service providers operate). We take steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with applicable laws.
9) Copyright and acceptable use
Fast Reel Downloader is intended for downloading content you own or are authorized to download. You are responsible for compliance with copyright laws and third-party terms.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X or Instagram.
10) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” and may provide additional notice if changes are significant.
