Located in the West Midlands, Birmingham, it focuses on collaborative practices across multiple disciplines, including STEAM, to foster innovation in fashion.
The emphasis on Experimental Fashion and the joy of creative exploration aims to expand knowledge and beauty through inclusive, cross-disciplinary projects. By blending rigorous research with a sense of fun, the platform showcases an environment where students, designers, and researchers can engage in meaningful, forward-thinking collaborations.

Fashion Research Day - Student Design Studio Presentations | November 12th
Join us for the inspiring culmination of Fashion Research Day, where our talented students showcase their design studio presentations, highlighting their ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world fashion projects. This event offers a unique blend of heritage, innovation, and social media trends, as students pitch brand-aligned collections developed through research-driven design.
Note:
The NeuVerve Design Studio, SUPERFIT Design Studio and SHEild Design Studio are permitted to utilise the research, design proposals, and presentations developed by the studio, provided that full credit and acknowledgment are given for the students' contributions.
Objective:
Fashion Research Day bridges students' academic insights with practical design experiences, helping them gain essential skills in brand research, innovation, and aligning designs with brand identity—just as they would in a professional environment.
Learning Outcomes:
Brand Research: Students develop expertise in researching and analysing specific brands.
Innovation: Students apply insights to create innovative, brand-aligned collection proposals.
