Upon arrival in Iloilo, we were greeted by the ISAT-U Community represented by Ma'am Noime, Ma'am Rona, Ma'am Sherry, Sir Joel and others. Rudy and I were placed on the La Paz Campus, while Indri, Kiki, and Elia were placed on the Miagao Campus, an hour outside the city. rudy, Mrs. Emma, and Mrs. Arum we were taken to dinner and visited the Molo Mansion and Molo Church before resting at the ISAT-U Hostel.
The second day in Iloilo was filled with activities introducing Iloilo Province and ISAT-U by Sir Badoles. Shortly after, I visited the ISAT-U College of Education, located near the campus grounds. I met with several lecturers and college officials, such as the dean and our supervisor. I were warmly welcomed by Sir Badoles and Ma'am Nemia. After that, i went to Ma'am Nemia's office and chatted briefly about preparations for the MoU ceremony tomorrow.
The opening ceremony on the third day was a thrilling one. I watched various performances from our friends at ISAT-U, and were also given gifts. The opening of the Sea-Teacher program was accompanied by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between ISAT-U and ULM. In the afternoon, a public lecture was held by my lecturer, Ms. Emma. Then, in the evening, i were invited to dinner to celebrate the success of the Elementary Education Department as one of the best departments in the Philippines.
