Farshad Rostami Ghadi, PhD

Dr. Farshad Rostami Ghadi is a Senior Research Fellow (EPSRC) with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London (UCL), London, UK. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Communication Engineering Department, University of Malaga (UMA), Malaga, Spain, in 2021. His research interests include analyzing wireless communication systems, network information theory, and copula theory, with an emphasis on wireless channel modeling and physical layer security. He has received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Symposium on Telecommunication Technologies (ISTT) 2024, the Best Journal Paper Award at the IEEE Signal Processing Society Malaysia Chapter Research Excellence Award (REA) 2025, and the Best Short Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on 6G Networking (6GNet 2025). He is an Editor for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications, and a Guest Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society.
